There is something magical about transforming a property into someone’s future home. Filled with hope and anticipation, this process is about visualizing the best of times to be had by the future homeowners. It is about bringing out the true value of a space and all its potential.
I leave every staging project with a heart overflowed with joy knowing that I brought both the owner and the prospective buyer closer to their dream of a new home.
I'm a Toronto-based interior decorator & stylist whose work lives at the intersection of fashion, interiors, and visual storytelling. While my education is in International Relations (BA & MA), my creative journey began in London College of Fashion, where I took a program on Editorial Styling and Creative Direction. I deepened my instinct for the narrative image-making while assisting a number of fashion stylists such as Cathy Kasterine and Esperanza de la Fuente across editorial and commercial projects.
In 2020, I moved back to Toronto and expanded my portfolio into interiors by launching my own company. Manolya Staging & Design has a focus primarily with realtors to help market their listings by creating an emotional connection with prospective buyers. Since then, my practice has expanded to include residential and commercial projects as well as set design and branded content.
Four cities. Fourteen schools. Three career pivots.
Like a hummingbird, flying from flower to flower, cross-pollinating ideas, exploring what lights me up, and evolving through curiosity.
My life has been full of edits, with reinvention becoming a constant.
And through it all, my intuition has become my compass.
I've always been drawn to beauty.
The way it invites stillness,
a reminder to slow down,
to notice, to feel, and to exhale.
Design is my connection to something deeper.
It's how I make sense of the world and my place in it.
I feel most alive when I am creating.
